A Charity Trade Show Managed to Raise Over £3,071 for a Very Good Cause.

We were there to demonstrate our products, while an onsite raffle was there to raise money for Blood Bikes Cumbria.

With five branches, Express Plumbing is the largest independent plumbers merchant and bathroom showroom in Cumbria.

In March 2018, they put on a charity trade show to raise money for Blood Bikes Cumbria.

Blood Bikes provide out-of-hours transport 365 days of the year for urgently needed blood, drugs, human tissue and other medical requirements between hospitals and blood transfusion banks. The Cumbria branch also supplies the Great North Air Ambulance with supplies for their onboard service every day of the week, regardless of weather conditions.

We introduced Saniflo and Kinedo products to a selection of plumbers, developers, mechanical engineers and landlords.

Pumps for Flood Relief

One of the most talked about products was the new Sanipump.

In recent years, parts of Cumbria have been bombarded with horrific floods. The Sanipump is a submersible pump with a macerator. A lot of people we spoke to told us that it would have proven invaluable at quickly removing the water from flooded areas, while the in-built macerator could have helped with the residue and detritus that inevitably comes with flood water.

More than 120 people attended the event, which took place at the Shepherds Centre in Carlisle.

And best of all, the whole thing managed to raise £3,071 for Cumbria Blood Bikes.
