Modular building manufacturer, MRC Modular, of Suffolk recently added log cabins to its portfolio of products and services. Company owner, Martin Reynolds, bought a local holiday park and used the skills of his own workforce to add 120 new cabins to the site. The high spec one and two bedroom chalet style buildings also feature bathrooms, kitchens and living areas and are used as self-catering accommodation for tourists.
Andy Lancaster, General Manager, is responsible for purchasing at MRC and was introduced to the Kinedo by Saniflo range of cubicles by the local Saniflo representative. Impressed by the concept of an integrated cubicle that is quick and efficient to install, he requested a demonstration of the Kineprime Glass and has since used recessed and quad versions for the cabins. He’s subsequently specified the Kinemagic walk-in model for the bigger units.
"We’re very happy with the quality of the finished product; they not only look good but they are very practical for us as a company. They are supplied with all the panels, the showerheads, the trays and the whole package fits together seamlessly. Once they’re in that’s the job done. There is no fiddly silicone, tiling or grout. We get our in-house plumber to install the hot and cold water pipework and then two of our general team can complete the installation."
Saniflo undertook a day of training on site to demonstrate the ease of installation and the company hasn’t looked back. They are now considering the Kinedo range for their house refurbishment projects.
