Easy bathroom installation with Kinewall and Kinemagic
When Laurie Danaher wanted a new bathroom for her house in Neasden in London, she knew who to call. Tony McKenzie of TMC Easy Fit Installations is a hugely experienced bathroom and kitchen installer with a great reputation for quality. Having fitted a new kitchen for Laurie a couple of years ago, she had kept in touch and approached him for ideas for her bathroom renovation.
Tony works in and around London and has a keen eye on the latest products and designs. He is in high demand thanks to his workmanship, efficiency and customer service and as such was able to recommend a range of products for the job, which included ripping out an old bath and replacing it with a walk-in shower to future proof the space.
Laurie was impressed with the Kinewall panels from Kinedo and wanted to look at the product in the flesh prior to buying it. Tony organised a visit to the Kinedo HQ in Watford where she was able to look at design samples as well as installations. The green jungle leaf pattern stopped Laurie in her tracks and she knew that was the pattern that would create the perfect bathroom space. Whilst on site, Laurie was also able to look at a Kinemagic shower cubicle; a bath replacement solution that would slot into the exact space of her old bath.
The job was ideal for Kinewall panels which Tony was able to install straight over the painted surfaces. In fact, the panels weren’t used in the shower space at all because Laurie opted for a Kinedo Kinemagic Design all-in-one, walk in shower cubicle to replace the bath. The low threshold, low maintenance solution was perfect for Laurie and her husband. The panels were installed above white tiles which coordinated perfectly with the jungle pattern.
Laurie is delighted with the whole project;
“The Kinewall panels and Kinemagic shower cubicle look great. Tony worked so hard to install the panels – which wasn’t an easy job because it’s a small space and the panels needed cutting to size and piecing together to sit above the tiles. The white tiles and the all-glass cubicle reflect the light which actually makes the bathroom lighter and brighter and it looks much bigger than before. We are thoroughly enjoying our new bathroom.”
The wider job undertaken by Tony included bringing the whole bathroom up to modern standards meaning raising the water tank, re-routing pipework and installing a new electrical circuit. He also installed a comfort height WC, suspended wash basin, new floor and all fixtures and fittings which means that the bathroom will serve the customer for many years.
Tony is a keen advocate of the Kinedo brand;
“I believe the Kinedo cubicles are the best products on the market. They are intuitive to install and require minimal maintenance once up and running. This was my first Kinewall job and I have to say the panels are great to work with. Because they are light, they are really easy to handle, yet they are very strong and durable thanks to the aluminium in the product. They have created a real statement in Laurie’s bathroom and will be very easy to maintain.”
