Annual World Toilet Day – 19th November 2019.
Yes, it’s a thing.
Obviously, a chance to make jokes as well as, well…go to the toilet, I guess.
A day when vicars up and down the country can make the observation that it’s important to get the details of Jesus’ baptism correct. Remember, John baptised Jesus in the Jordan.
Jordan didn’t baptise Jesus in the John.
Hahahahaha.
Ha.
Ok, while this day may be a haven of comedy for all of us that take sanitation for granted, behind the hilarity is a serious initiative that we all should aspire to support.
Celebrated on 19th November every year, World Toilet Day is about inspiring action to tackle the global sanitation crisis and help achieve Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 6, which promises sanitation for all by 2030.
